Fully electronic engine management regulates the ignition timing and fuel metering in all work situations, taking into account external conditions such as temperature, altitude and fuel quality.

  • Bike handle

  • When used in conjunction with a harness, the bike handle enables a smooth mowing action. The bike handle allows the machine to be easily guided, making it ideal for working on large areas and thus reducing fatigue.

  • Tool-free handle adjustment

  • SET THE BIKE HANDLE POSITION. You can individually adjust the ergonomic bike handle (mowing handle) using the central clamping device. Thanks to the tool-free handle adjustment, you do not need any tools for this. The bike handle can be rotated 90 degrees for transport and space-saving storage.

  • Stop button

  • RESTART WORK QUICKLY. With the stop button, you can switch off your tool quickly and easily for a short break, for example. As the button springs back to its original position after actuation, the engine is immediately ready to start again. This provides more comfort after breaks and increases your work efficiency.

  • Winter setting slide control

  • It is quick and easy to switch the setting from winter to summer using the slide control. Using the winter setting will prevent the air filter and carburettor from freezing.

  • 25° gear angle

  • The new STIHL short shaft brushcutters provides a new transmission angle of 25° for even more comfort when using clearing saws.

  • Large fuel tank

  • The transparent fuel tank with a volume of 0.75 l ensures long working intervals with fewer fuel stops. The level is easily visible from the outside. Easy to refuel through a large, easily accessible tank opening.
