The STIHL RM 545 VM is a great choice for effective assistance mowing medium-sized lawns, whether you want to collect the clippings or use them for immediate mulching. The mulching kit which is fitted as standard, shreds your grass clippings into smaller pieces as required, and distributes them evenly in the turf to become a valuable fertiliser. So this lawn mower is really a multi-mower™.

    The polymer housing of the RM 545 VM is petrol-resistant, so it experiences no material changes on contact with petrol, and it is also UV-resistant. Thanks to Vario wheel drive, the powerful engine always runs at a stable stroke rate, even if you adjust your power tool speed. The RM 545 VM has a height-adjustable and foldable handlebar to make work as comfortable and ergonomic as possible. Central 7-level cut-height adjustment makes it easy to select your preferred cut height between 25 mm and 80 mm . The cutting width of the petrol-driven lawn mower is 43 cm.

    The60-litre grass collection box helps you make rapid progress when mowing your lawn and it includes a fill-level indicator to let you know when it needs emptying. What’s more, the folding mechanism makes it easy to empty.

    EASY AND RELIABLE. Whether a cold or warm start, thanks to the engine with easy-start system, you can start your tool easily, reliably and with minimal effort.
    The Vario self-propulsion enables individual adaptation of the speed of the STIHL lawn mower to personal mowing habits and lawn conditions. The mowing speed can be infinitely varied using the control lever on the handlebar.

    Mulching function

    MOW AND FERTILISE IN A SINGLE STEP. The mulching function saves you having to dispose of cuttings and lets you fertilise your lawn naturally. The mulching blades shred the cut grass into small particles which are then automatically distributed evenly over the turf.

    Multiblade

    FLEXIBLE MOWING AND MULCHING. The multi-blade allows you to mow and mulch without changing the blade. The specially shaped blades shred the cut grass. Then you decide whether the grass should be transported into the collection box via air flow, or further shredded and distributed evenly over the green area to become a nutrient-rich fertiliser.

    Folding grass collection box

    EASY EMPTYING. Your lawn mower is equipped with a folding grass collection box to make emptying clippings very straightforward. The fill-level indicator signals the right time for emptying. An airstream ensures dense filling while mowing, so you can make optimum use of the full volume of the box. The slats on the side of the box direct the air towards the ground, which protects you from dirt being swirled up.

    Central cut-height adjustment

    FOR OPTIMUM MOWER RESULTS. You can adjust the cutting height on your lawn mower easily and in several levels. A scale shows the current height. Central cut-height adjustment allows you to optimally adapt your mowing to the conditions of the lawn.
