Movable hood
The movable hood with sensors protects the STIHL iMOW® robotic mower from weather and obstacles. If the iMOW® robotic mower comes up against an obstacle during automatic mowing, the integrated sensors detect contact with the object and changes direction.
Access protection
MAKES THEFT MORE DIFFICULT. The various sensors on your iMOW® robotic lawnmower detect any attempt to lift the robotic lawn mower while it mows, and accordingly bring it to a halt. You can use a PIN code to protect your automatic lawn mower against unauthorised use. On all C models, you can locate the iMOW® robotic mower via GPS, using the free iMOW® App on a smartphone or tablet.
Mulching mowing deck
The sturdy iMOW® mulching blade ensures a precise cutting pattern even on higher grass growth. Its rotational direction changes automatically every time the blade stops. This means that the blades of the automatic lawn mower wear evenly. The blade can be changed without the need for tools.
Offset self docking
By default, the iMOW® robotic mower travels back home to the docking station along the perimeter wire. If required, and depending on the condition of the edge of the mowing area, the iMOW® can also travel to its docking station with an alternating offset to the perimeter wire.
Control console LCD display
COMFORTABLE OPERATION. The control console is integrated into the housing of the STIHL iMOW® and has a large-format LCD display. The display is also high-contrast and bright, making it easy to read even in sunlight. In RMI 6 series models, it can be removed for more convenient operation. It is easy and intuitive to make changes to settings or the recording of performance data.
iMOW® robotic mower drive
HIGH PERFORMANCE EVEN ON SLOPING GROUND. iMOW® robotic mowers mow with consistently high quality, including on hilly terrain. Depending on the series, they can cope with even steep inclines.
Adaptive slope speed
Using the adaptive slope speed function, the STIHL iMOW® robotic mower adapts its speed on uneven terrain. The integrated tilt sensor constantly analyses the position of the automatic lawn mower and adapts its speed accordingly.
Dynamic mowing plan
OPTIMISED WORKING TIME FOR YOUR MOWER. With the dynamic mowing plan, you define a time frame within which the automatic mower can be operational each day. Your iMOW® robotic lawnmower will then automatically determine when to mow the lawn during this period for optimum results. Even if the mowing process is interrupted due to rain, for example, it will automatically catch up on the task later within the time frame.
Wheels with traction profile
ENSURE PRECISE MOVEMENT ON TERRAIN. On hilly lawns and under difficult conditions, these wheels improve the traction of your robotic lawn mower. Whether on inclines, denser grass growth or a wet meadow, the traction profile of the smooth-running wheels means your robotic lawn mower moves with precision. The all-terrain profile wheels are also self-cleaning.
