The HLA 56 is the perfect tool to cut taller hedges and shrubs in your garden. Our lightweight and well-balanced cordless long-reach hedge trimmer has double-edged, droplet shaped blades to guide branches between the cutting teeth for a precise and even finish. The angle of the head can be changed from  -45° to +90° so you can easily trim all of those hard to reach areas in the garden.

With a detachable shaft for easy transport and a bracket included for neat storage, the HLA 56 is a great tool to add to your collection. The HLA 56 is just one of the tools in our AK System - the interchangeable battery in the HLA 56 can also be used in other tools in this range including a grass trimmer, blower, lawn mowers and chainsaws. Carrying length: 115 cm.

Cannot be used with Kombi attachments, HTA 50 pole pruner, RTS harness or HTA 50 shaft extension. 

Features

Intuitive operation

EASY STARTING. To start the tool, all you need to do is release the lock using the locking switch. The tool can then be started using the trigger. The additional ERGO lever enables continuous work without having to restart. The self-resetting locking switch prevents accidental activation of the tool. Operation is suitable for both left-handed and right-handed users.

Simple head angle adjustment

With the help of the large angle adjustment button, the blade angle can be easily adjusted without tools from -45 ° to + 90 ° for cutting the the top of the hedge and sides.

Detachable shaft

FOR COMFORTABLE TRANSPORT AND STORAGE. Thanks to the detachable shaft, you can quickly dismantle your tool for easier transport, and also store it in a space-saving manner. You do not need any tools to disassemble the shaft.

Loop handle

MORE FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT IN NARROW SPACES. The loop handle makes work in narrow spacers easier, such as clearing between bushes, shrubs or park benches. The practical handle position allows you to move your tool freely and to guide it easily and precisely, even in confined spaces.

Tip protector

PREVENTS DAMAGE. The tip protector prevents damage to the blades. The tip protector also makes it easier to cut close to the ground or along walls.

Wall-mounted storage bracket

Thanks to the wall bracket, the individual shaft components can be stored off the ground helping to save space in your shed or garage.
